Apple has revealed most awaited smartwatch Apple is calling Apple Watch. Apple new smartwatch features sapphire display, which protects from scratches, Apple Pay and NFC. The new Apple Watch highly polished stainless steel.
Apple new smartwatch comes with Apple new smartwatch processor called S1 and custom designed OS. In terms of design a lot similarity to new iPhone and iPod Nano, with curve edges and a power button on the side. There's also also hardware dial, that Apple is calling a "Digital Crown", which can be used to navigate menus, zoom into images, pressed to go to the homescreen.
Apple watch has Siri. To activate Siri Press and hold Digital Crown. Using Siri you can dictate a message, find location and more. Apple Watch uses the GPS and Wi-Fi your iPhone to help track your distance. The Apple Watch does notifications, so that you are alerted to messages or upcoming meetings or calender entires, with alerts being actionable so that you can respond without touching your iPhone. Apple Watch comes with two apps that give a complete picture of health and fitness. The Activity app monitors movement throughout the day and Workout app tracks dedicated workouts.
There are three watch 'collections' called Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and AppleWatch Edition with the main difference being the finishes which are aluminium, stainless steel, or 18 carat-gold respectively.
Apple Watch requires iPhone. And it works with iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6 and 6 Plus. Apple Watch will start at $349. And will be available early next year.
